Position: Logistics; Kitting Location: Watertown, South Dakota Basic Purpose of Position: The Logistics - Kitting position performs the process of picking jobs/parts for production requirements. Requirements
- This position reports to work onsite - this is not a remote position!
- Must be ITAR Compliant All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer navigation skills required.
- Physical: Able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation. Full physical requirements outlined in attachment.
- Language: Ability to read, write and comprehend spoken work instructions in English.
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all Warehouse expectations are met regarding receiving, stocking, cleanliness, labeling, and picking of part requests for the production floor.
- Picking jobs/parts as needed to meet Production needs.
- Issuing material to jobs and performing transactions in our computer system.
- Verification and investigation of component shortage issues for productions part requests, as well as communicating those issues to Materials and Production.
- Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operates forklift truck or uses pallet jack to move, convey, or hoist materials needed for jobs in production.
