About The Position

Work Location: Van Buren, IN
Shifts Available: Day Shift 4:30am - 4:45pm | 2-2-3 Schedule
Hourly Pay: $20/hour

Primary Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Material Movement
Transport raw materials and completed products throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered equipment in a safe manner.
Operate automated systems such as stretch wrappers, robotic equipment, and conveyor lines to facilitate efficient product handling.
Prepare and stage materials based on production and order requirements.
Label and identify finished goods accurately and relocate them to appropriate warehouse locations.
Receiving & Distribution
Process incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate system transactions in AS400.
Inspect inbound deliveries to confirm quantities, product integrity, and alignment with shipping documentation.
Complete required paperwork to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
Verify that outbound loads meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
Inventory Control
Maintain precise inventory records and execute transactions within the AS400 system.
Ensure proper stock rotation practices are followed in accordance with FIFO guidelines.
Participate in cycle counts, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Perform product and material inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Follow HACCP principles and all established food safety procedures.
Accurately complete required documentation to support audits and regulatory requirements.
Carry out scheduled sanitation duties (daily through annual) to maintain a safe and compliant workspace.
Equipment Oversight
Conduct pre-shift inspections and routine checks on forklifts and related equipment.
Promptly communicate mechanical concerns or safety hazards to the maintenance department.
Collaboration & Workplace Standards
Coordinate with production, warehouse, and leadership teams to maintain efficient operations and meet deadlines.
Uphold housekeeping standards to ensure an orderly, clean, and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to perform job duties effectively and safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating industrial powered trucks (e.g., sit-down forklifts) in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with AS400 inventory systems.
