About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Logistics Engineer with a Secret clearance to work from our Huntsville, AL location. You will support the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program as a Logistics Engineer in developing Logistics Product Data (LPD) for all THAAD ground major end items. The applicant must be knowledgeable with: GEIA-STD-0007, TA-STD-0017d, and MIL-HDBK-502. You must be knowledgeable of relational databases to document data associated with GEIA-STD requirements. Additionally, the applicant must be capable of developing and documenting task analysis that provide step-by-step procedures to perform: operational checks; preventive maintenance checks; remove and replace tasks; troubleshooting tasks and in documenting product structure. You must also have working knowledge to perform logistics planning to include scheduling and determining resources for specific tasks; conduct Structured Query Language (SQL) queries on relational databases and to plan product support management. Finally, the applicant must have a thorough knowledge of: provisioning process, availability analysis, supportability analysis, comparative analysis, and task analysis in accordance with MIL-HDBK-502.

Requirements

  • Experience using MS Office Suite Software including Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of logistics databases.
  • Experience and knowledge of THAAD Ground hardware Major End Items.
  • An active Interim Secret security clearance is required for consideration.
  • Logistics Support Analysis Reports (LSAR)
  • Logistics Product Data (LPD)
  • Provisioning process knowledge or experience
  • Maintenance Task Analysis
  • Experience with GEIA Standards, MIL-STD-1388-2B

Responsibilities

  • As a Logistics Engineer Component End Item Lead, responsibilities will include:
  • Use your knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 and GEIA-STD-0007B standards to support the migration and development of provisioning data within SLICwave
  • Conduct provisioning analyses to influence THAAD design, modifications, and maintenance planning.
  • Interpret engineering parts list to determine and develop the Provisioning Parts List and document all associated data elements in the LPD to develop the LSA-036 IAW MIL-STD-1388-2B
  • Interpret and apply SM&R and Maintenance Task Codes to provisioning data, ensuring alignment with sustainment strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain accurate, mission-critical logistics data and documentation
  • Conduct Product Support Analysis and document results in LPD database to develop Logistics Support Analysis Reports (LSAR) to meet contract deliverables.
