Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our logistics team in a multifaceted role combining logistics coordination, customer service, and operational data management. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient shipment processing, maintaining strong client relationships, and accurately building and managing load data for transportation operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with others promoting to promote a team environment
  • Listen to problems first in order to gain a clear understanding and provide solutions to Customers
  • Thrive in a fast paced, high volume work environment
  • Possess the ability to accept constructive criticism from both external and internal sources. Learn from mistakes in an effort to improve your professional skills
  • Possess basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, or data entry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with TMS systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel is desirable

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, track, and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to optimize routing and capacity.
  • Monitor and resolve operational issues, including delays, missed pickups, or delivery discrepancies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, scheduling, and issue resolution.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships and uphold company service standards.
  • Accurately input shipment details, customer information, and operational data into the transportation management system (TMS) or internal databases.
  • Build loads and optimize capacity planning to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate and review reports related to shipments, carrier performance, and operational metrics.
  • Identify trends or issues in logistics operations and propose improvements
