About The Position

Assist in the continued development, implementation, and maintenance of a Quality System in the warehouse operation Support in the execution and presentation of weekly and quarterly key performance indicators (KPIs) Ensure compliance with relevant quality and regulatory standards Manage and execute the training and development of account personnel Conduct audits of distribution centers (DC) operational processes Lead a team of account dedicated staff members Work with operations management and account supervisors to ensure high quality performance, strict process & safety adherence, and continuous improvement Support the execution of performance assessments, risk assessments, and quality investigations Perform customer facing functions including teleconference meetings, presentations, and email correspondence Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Five (5) years of warehouse and/or distribution management experience
  • Staff/personnel management within a distribution, warehouse, and/or 3PL facility
  • Adequate knowledge, experience, and/or understanding of the supply chain industry
  • KPI metric development
  • Safety Compliance
  • WMS Systems
  • Adequate understanding of value-added services
  • Multiple languages such as Spanish is required
  • Proficient with administrative and reporting tools and applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's/bachelor's degree preferred
  • Forklift certification and/or license a plus
  • 5S, Lean, or similar training/certifications
  • Hazardous Materials Storage and Shipping
