About The Position

Summary: Coordinate Kelvion’s daily tasks ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Track Structure Materials-Check loads going out and coming back from vendors Recording time and daily labor for employees Ensure proper pieces/weights & dimensions accurately to loads Coordinate with Galvanize vendors of regular & expedited hot shot loads Data entry on all shipping documents for daily shipments Complete shippers on completed loads from vendors Keep up with all Kelvion’s inventory of what is on hand & in process Make BOL’s for the drivers and delivering products Dispatch drivers and material handlers on daily operations Take pictures for documentation of completed shipment for record Use M2M program on computer Have knowledge of international shipments Maintain housekeeping, safety and department organization Communicate with supervisor or manager of key employee issues Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work overtime Ability to perform multiple tasks, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with other employees & departments Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improving for long-term solutions Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates provided by management Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and communication skills Prioritize tasks in a self-directed & time-managed manner Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily.
  • Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet graphics,etc.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amount such as discount, interest, commissions, proportions, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
