JOB SUMMARY: Oversees and coordinates logistics processes and provides support to all domestic locations. Analyzes data, problem solves issues, and works closely with distribution coordinators, operations, customer service, customers, quality, marketing, and sales to meet customer’s expectations and regulatory compliance. Performs work under minimal supervision. ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: Collaborates with operations, customer experience, and distribution coordinators to modify orders and meet external customer expectations Problem solves logistics-related issues to provide solutions to meet customer expectations Optimizes the creation of deliveries of orders within and outside of the system to allow for the most efficient and cost effective ship methods for customers Maintains, verifies and updates quoting of deliveries through the TMS software, ERP system and manual tools Validates and analyzes freight invoices to determine approval or denial of payment Creates shipping documents including but not limited to bills of lading, packing slips, notice to shipper forms and international documentation Tracks, traces, and requests shipment history and documentation Files and manages claims with freight carriers Makes in the moment decisions based on situational awareness and fiduciary responsibility SECONDARY DUTIES: Works with logistics leadership to drive quality and efficiency improvements Supports warehouse office, Midmark Delivery Service, and project teams as needed May provide coaching, mentoring, and training to new logistics coordinators and/or other shipping teammates Stays informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements
