About The Position

A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the shipment of fiberglass swimming pools and pool equipment to homeowners and distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada. This role involves scheduling deliveries, coordinating drivers, organizing pilot cars, obtaining permits for oversized loads, and communicating with our Customer Service Team and customers regarding each shipment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree.
  • 1+ years of logistics experience.
  • Experience managing strict deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Comfortable working outdoors 50% of the time.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to build meaningful relationships internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently to drive results.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the pool industry preferred.
  • CRM experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the delivery schedule to ensure timely deliveries that align with customer schedules.
  • Schedule drivers and pilot cares for escorting of oversized loads.
  • Collaborate with permit agencies to secure permits in advance for oversized deliveries.
  • Ensure DOT compliance by verifying that drivers necessary items for each delivery.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance events on truck and trailer assets.
  • Develop weekly P&L reporting for deliveries.
  • Conduct pre-departure inspections.  NOTE: This requires physical effort, including climbing ladders to inspect pools.
  • Coordinate monthly inventory, tracking shipments and transfers at assigned storage yards.
