About The Position

Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods across all company facilities and to customers. This role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of products by coordinating with third-party logistics providers, managing shipping documentation, and supporting inventory and customer service operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Shipping & Transportation  Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery deadlines.  Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and direct carriers to arrange and monitor deliveries.  Prepare and distribute Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation.  Arrange domestic shipments (LTL, FTL, UPS, FedEx).  Ensure compliance with customer-specific shipping requirements.  Tender and trace all freight shipments and manage freight claims and disputes. Inventory & Operations  Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems and assist with intrasite transfers.  Perform RMA (Return Material Authorization) and MDF (Material Disposition Form) closures.  Support continuous improvement of inventory and logistics procedures. Customer Service & Support  Provide order status updates and resolve delivery issues in collaboration with customer service.  Ensure on-time delivery performance to customers and internal stakeholders. Analytics & Reporting  Use data analysis tools to evaluate logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.  Provide transportation cost analysis to support sales and supply chain decisions.  Compile and report service levels and pricing metrics to internal teams. Other Duties and Responsibilities:  Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.  Safety Protocol o Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. o Correct or report any observed safety hazards.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with 3PLs and international shipping is a plus.
