About The Position

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) has an immediate opening for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Omaha team. This is a critical, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coordination, and seeing the direct impact of their work every day. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring our products move efficiently from our facilities to our customers via rail. You’ll collaborate closely with operations, merchandisers, and railroad partners to keep shipments on track and deliveries on time. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills will set you up for success in this role. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and participate in rotating weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Agriculture, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all rail transportation activities that support our facilities and customers
  • Manage the movement of loaded and empty railcars, including tank cars, hopper cars, and other rail equipment
  • Partner with operations, traffic, oil, accounting, merchandising, and facility teams to ensure accurate, timely transportation information
  • Communicate regularly with local railroad personnel to support service needs and resolve issues
  • Assign and track private and railroad-owned equipment across multiple facilities
  • Coordinate with facility management on track work, maintenance activities, and rail-related projects
  • Help ensure smooth, efficient logistics operations through proactive communication and follow-up
