REIC Rentals is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations and ensure the smooth coordination of fleet, inventory, and logistics activities. Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in logistics, operations, or administrative roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification within 6 months
  • Comfortable working in both office and yard environments
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
  • Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on role

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in equipment rental, construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments preferred
  • Experience with ERP, inventory, or order systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics including equipment transport, shipments, and deliveries
  • Arrange transportation (hotshot, freight, brokers) for customer and inter-company moves
  • Track and optimize logistics plans to support business needs
  • Maintain accurate fleet readiness using work orders and internal systems
  • Keep yard and equipment organized and accessible
  • Manage inventory: receiving, staging, shipping, and cycle counts
  • Analyze inventory usage and recommend stocking levels
  • Source vendors and assist with supplier setup
  • Create purchase orders and requisitions
  • Ensure proper documentation for invoicing and compliance
  • Maintain accurate contract data (rental dates, locations, equipment tracking)
  • Support billing accuracy and customer requirements
  • Partner with sales, operations, service, and finance teams
  • Handle customer inquiries related to logistics and contracts
  • Provide administrative support including travel coordination and document processing
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Track operational metrics and generate reports
  • Support audits and system/process initiatives
  • Support safety initiatives, training, and reporting
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations
