The Role As a Consultant – Logistics, you will lead the transformation of client logistics and transportation operations, from strategy through implementation. You will work directly with senior client stakeholders to design and execute cost-effective, scalable logistics solutions that improve service, reduce cost, and strengthen supply chain performance. This role is designed for experienced logistics professionals who want to expand their impact, build deep client relationships, and progress toward Engagement Director-level leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, operations, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of logistics and supply chain experience, including implementation
  • Prior experience in a management or implementation consulting environment
  • Deep expertise across multiple transportation modes (e.g., TL, LTL, Air, Ocean, Rail, Parcel)
  • Strong understanding of global logistics networks and market dynamics
  • Ability to lead teams and drive change in complex client environments
  • Strong problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-accountability consulting roles
  • Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel up to 85% to client sites
  • Dynamic, team-oriented consulting environment with direct exposure to senior leaders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required (no sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

  • Lead logistics transformation initiatives across transportation, distribution, and warehousing
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost and improve service, reliability, and scalability
  • Partner with clients to design future-state logistics strategies and operating models
  • Conduct impact and feasibility analyses to support recommendations and implementation plans
  • Lead RFX processes and carrier strategy across multiple transportation modes
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with client stakeholders through hands-on delivery
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer to client teams to enable sustainable results
