Logistics Clerk
About The Position
FIC America Corp. is a global Tier 1 automotive components manufacturer centrally located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. We are actively seeking a Logistics Clerk, ideally with sit down forklift experience. Job Description Maintain and produce documentation to prepare products for shipment Prepare and print shipping labels and skid labels, using Kanban System Coordinate with truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and receipt of bill of ladings Maintain and prepare documents, such as pick lists, bills, and labels, using FIC and Toyota databases Produce copies and electronic back-ups of documentation Store documentation in proper locations Communicate with truck companies to resolve shipping issues Follow standard work instructions Perform other duties assigned Other Job Functions Comply with FIC’s Safety policies and procedures Comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards Perform 5-S activities
Requirements
- 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in a warehouse environment
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- ERP experience is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
- Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier is preferred
- Ideal candidate will have sit down forklift experience but is not required
