How Will You Make an Impact? As a Logistics Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of materials and products in and out of the facility. You'll support logistics, transportation, and customs processes by maintaining accurate documentation, inputting key data, and coordinating with production teams and shipping providers. Your attention to detail and organization will help drive efficient operations and compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in materials handling, logistics, or transportation preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software.
  • Understanding of basic shipping documentation and customs regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with import, export, and domestic transportation processes.
  • Track shipments to and from the facility, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Interact with transportation providers to coordinate and execute shipments.
  • Support logistics and customs functions in accordance with applicable laws and procedures.
  • Accurately input data into ERP systems and logistics platforms (e.g., carrier portals, customs systems).
  • Prepare required shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, invoices, and manifests.
  • Ensure that all documentation for material transport is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
  • Coordinate with production and shipping teams to meet delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external providers to resolve shipment issues or delays.
  • Review and approve freight and customs duty invoices.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and health regulations.
  • Follow all procedures outlined in the company's security policy.
  • Ensure secure and compliant handling of shipments and documentation.
