About The Position
KARL STORZ is seeking a Logistics Center Associate I to support their Product Evaluation Department within the Logistics Center. This role is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and want to grow within a company driven by continuous improvement (LEAN) and operational excellence. As a Logistics Center Associate I, the individual will play a vital role in evaluating and processing electro-mechanical medical devices while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with established standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions and standard processes
- Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-focused
Nice To Haves
- Experience using SAP systems
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices following standard work instructions
- Ensure all devices meet the highest quality standards before moving forward
- Verify that all device documentation matches the physical part number and serial number (if applicable) and SAP records
- Update and install software on designated devices as required
- Perform SAP transactions related to material handling and product evaluation
- Support other tasks as assigned by the Product Evaluation Supervisor
- Cross-train and provide coverage for other roles within the Product Evaluation Department as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement guidelines
