Primary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Ankeny Function: Operations (CA) Title: Logistics and Warehouse Analyst - 118152 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Logistics and Warehouse Analyst, located in Ankeny, IA you will… Lead fleet operations, yard logistics, supplier performance, and capital projects in a complex manufacturing environment Manage budgets for forklifts, trucks/trailers, rentals, transportation, and manpower Oversee 3PL supervisors and drivers; align staffing to production schedules and demand Drive yard flow strategy, lot structure, carrier coordination, and bottleneck reduction Ensure hazmat outbound shipping compliance, documentation, and regulatory standards Manage carrier/3PL relationships, resolve issues, and support supplier onboarding/offboarding Lead cross-functional projects, capital planning, and MFO initiatives from planning through execution Partner with Operations, Supply Management, Engineering, and Accounting to support production and CI efforts Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to improve utilization, flow, and cost efficiency VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of Operations, Material Flow, Supply Management, and Logistics experience
  • 1 or more years of Project Management experience
  • Budget ownership and financial planning/forecasting
  • Prior fleet and yard logistics management
  • Strong communication and presentations skills
  • Systems experience (SAP, SharePoint, tracking tools, dashboards/reporting)
  • 3PL/vendor management and relationship building
  • Project and program management (capital projects, cross-functional initiatives)
  • Data analysis and KPI development (utilization, cost, performance metrics)
  • Process improvement and continuous improvement (Lean, CI, RCA)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Strong continuous improvement experience
  • Advanced analytics skills (Power BI, Tableau, advanced Excel)
  • SAP experience, especially EWM or logistics reporting tools
  • Strong financial analysis skills (forecasting, cost modeling, ROI tracking)
  • Experience optimizing yard flow, trailer utilization, and lot capacity in high-volume operations
  • Experience leading indirect teams (3PLs, contractors, drivers, supervisors)
  • Experience building executive-level dashboards, reports, and presentations
  • Proven examples of cost reduction, safety improvements, or operational efficiency gains

Responsibilities
