Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
2–5 years of logistics experience in carriers or trucking companies are required.
Familiarity with TMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and make real-time operational decisions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers.
Source, vet, and onboard carriers (including insurance, authority, and safety compliance).
Negotiate freight rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Plan and book shipments; schedule pickups and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
Track and trace shipments in real time; proactively resolve delays, claims, and service issues.
Communicate regularly with drivers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
Maintain accurate shipment records and data in TMS/ERP systems.
Support daily logistics operations, including appointment scheduling and load planning.
Coordinate with Customer Service, Warehouse, and Scheduling teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
Review and verify carrier invoices and assist with freight cost tracking and reporting.
Prepare required shipping documentation, including export paperwork and PODs.
Monitor logistics performance and contribute to process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and transportation regulations.
