The Logistics & Transportation Functional Analyst/Tester will support the U.S. Army Transportation Coordinators' Automated Information for Movement System II (TC-AIMS II). This mission-critical system serves over 50,000 users worldwide and supports Army deployment and redeployment operations globally. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams while driving quality through comprehensive testing throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with TC-AIMS II or similar Army logistics / Transportation automated logistics management system
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with QA methodology/processes
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with help desk tier 4/5
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and ISS ticketing system
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with Selenium
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with PTF
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with backend data validation
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with HP ALM
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with Jira
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with Quality Center
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with RFID/AIT barcoding in an Automated Logistics system
  • Minimum 5 years’ recent hands-on experience with MS Office
  • BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • US Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis to identify discrepancies between current systems and requirements, proposing improvements
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring alignment on project goals
  • Develop and execute test plans, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate solutions
  • Create and maintain documentation (user manuals, system guides) and facilitate training for end-users
  • Analyze requirements and design test plans to prioritize test activities for each iteration
  • Develop and implement functional test plans and strategies
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual testing methods to confirm design objectives and identify defects early
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure quality testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle
  • Write test documentation such as test cases, scenarios, and create test data
  • Track and report bugs to development teams, working with them to resolve issues
  • Perform new functionality and regression testing throughout the sprint cycle
  • Proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Stay updated on testing tools, methodologies, and Agile/Scrum practices
  • Employ the government tracking tool Integrated Support System (ISS) and Azure DevOps to log and monitor incidents
