Role Summary Our Logistics and Material Handling Analysts work hand in hand with our labcar, sub-assembly, and RVT teams to manage seamless material flow. They monitor internal systems to support proper supply, oversee warehouse health, and expedite any requests needed for the team. They work cross-functionally with engineers, team members, and leadership to make sure operations are running efficiently. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy and enforcing policies that ensure efficient, effective, and safe warehouse operations. The opening is located at our warehouse in Irvine, CA, and reports directly to the Material Handling Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5+ years relevant experience managing warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, inventory control). High volume, automotive, or start-up experience strongly preferred.
  • Education: College degree in Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics, or Engineering preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Super-user status in WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and experience with PLM systems and their interface with MRP preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Team Orientation: Strong cross-functional attitude and experience motivating and leading team members in a constructive manner.
  • Compliance: Ability to read and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, and operating manuals.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where the noise level is usually moderate.

Responsibilities

  • Material Flow & Inventory: Manages material flow and inventory control; processes received goods through goods receipt, put away, and issue out.
  • System Integrity: Monitors internal pull systems and maintains/monitors the WMS/ERP systems to ensure goods are correctly stored and reflected digitally.
  • Floor Resolution: Responds to and resolves floor problems (Min/Max conditions, standard pack discrepancies, packaging compliance, and labeling).
  • Operational Oversight: Oversees warehouse locations and labeling; manages and maintains warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Supply Support: Maintains Build Sequence rules (spacing, batching, option leveling) and supports material flow for new product requirements.
  • Quality Coordination: Coordinates the disposal or return of replaced parts and handles replacement orders for miss-builds and scrap units.
  • Team Leadership: Prepares work schedules; assists with recruiting, hiring, and training warehouse team members on processes and procedures.
  • Reporting & Strategy: Administers the Internal Control Review Process and audits; supports Prototype Build meetings to review KPIs and provide status updates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluates current operational processes to highlight gaps and implement lean solutions to improve readiness.
