About The Position

PLEASE NOTE: Hiring Full and Part Time positions. This position is contingent upon contract award. In support of our customer, we are seeking a Logistics Analyst Midgrade with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/principles/organizational protocols. Job Duties:  • Comprehensive logistics support across Product Management Teams, ensuring logistics support aligns with program requirements and operational efficiency across the lifecycle of the program.  • Logistics Operations & Coordination: Coordinating, hosting, and participating in logistics events, including LORAs, DMSMS Analyses, Supply Support Analyses, Logistics/Maintenance Demonstrations, Functional and Physical Configuration Audits, Test Events, and Validation/Verification of Technical Publications.  • Ensuring timely and efficient deployment of systems accompanied by requisite New Equipment Training, Sustainment Training, and/or I&KPT.  • Acquisition Logistics & Documentation: Developing, reviewing, providing input and comments to, and maintaining logistics acquisition documents, including LCSPs, ILAs and ILARs, Corrosion Control and Implementation Plans, FIRs, Disposal Plans, LRFS, SL-3s, DMSMS Plans, Fielding Plans, and NET Packages.  • Supporting validation and verification activities, to include 30/60/90% reviews of all Technical Publications, not limited to I-Type documents (Technical, Modification, and Supply Instructions), and Technical Manuals/IETMs.  • Supply Chain & Readiness Analysis: Analyzing supply and maintenance readiness for equipment. Evaluating historical data, identifying readiness issues, and recommending corrective actions. Delivering Material Readiness Reports with findings and recommendations to enhance supply chain efficiency.  • Performing quarterly TFSMS reviews to ensure data accuracy. Developing and delivering DSOR recommendation letters and DMI Forms.  • Researching and analyzing data for LRFS. Reviewing Product Quality Deficiency Reports and recommending corrective actions using the PDREP.  • Failure Reporting & Corrective Actions: Monitoring and analyzing FRACAS and delivering quarterly FRACAS Reports with findings, issues, and recommended corrective actions.  General responsibilities include but are not limited to:  • Under limited supervision, leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.  • Recommends ILS element planning and progress to ensure compliance with program requirements, specifications, and standards, analyzes models and optimized distribution networks using advanced logistics software for location of sites, allocation of resources, inventory placement, and size, selection of transportation mode, freight consolidation, closed loop tours, and continuous moves.  • Provides supervision to Junior Logistics Analyst.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Six (6) years of related progressive professional work experience in Life-Cycle Logistics planning and management with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in at least two directly related technological areas, including experience in all phases of logistics acquisition and logistics planning.
  • Minimum Clearance Required: SECRET

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Government Information Systems such as TFSMS, TLCM-OST, GCSS-MC, MCSC VIPER, WebFLIS, PDREP and the Marine Corps Technical Publications Site.
  • Understanding of DON, USMC, and MCSC document formatting requirements and templates; the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements; SECNAVINST 4105.1C; the MCSC Birth Record Guidebook, and processes for JIT and TQM.
  • Experience with Intel Link on SIPR-Net desired.
