Loads requirements of production schedule into online enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Reviews and maintains ERP requirement integrity. Analyzes and reviews requirements for manufactured parts. Releases manufactured work orders as required to Production Stores for processing. Monitors shortage report(s) and on-hold report(s) for non-released and work in process. Expedites material shortages, both manufactured and procured parts. Monitors and statuses progress of projects to insure timely completion. Assists in preparing tracking reports on status of work flow. Assists in weekly inventory cycle counts. Interfaces with Production Stores to fill backlog shortages. Recognizes schedule problems and acts as an interdepartmental liaison to resolve problems. Coordinates engineering change activities with effected departments. Interfaces with supervisors and engineers to assist in solving workflow problems. Interfaces with Manufacturing Planning to establish priorities for new or revised planning. Interfaces with Shop Floor to coordinate Manufacturing priorities. Monitors on time contractual delivery performance for assigned Business Unit Coordinates with functional departments to develop “estimates to complete” for manufacturing cost centers. Oversees the implementation of engineering changes into production. Assists in developing critical path summaries and solutions. Assists in developing manufacturing plans for projects/programs and keeps projects to schedule by recognizing schedule problems and delivering solutions. Assists in assembling presentation data for monthly Operation reviews for Operation managers, Operation VP and other key personnel. Requirements

  • Preference for a 4-year degree, but candidates working towards one or possessing a 2-year degree desired.
  • Experience with an MRP/ERP system is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a strong grasp of arithmetic are required.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills are a must.
