About The Position

For the past 80 years, M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. In the past few decades, we have expanded beyond our remanufacturing roots to develop close (and sometimes exclusive) partnerships with the world’s leading OEMs and manufacturers. Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts. Our strong remanufacturing roots combined with our 41 branch locations, a nationwide outside sales team of 25 and our close OEM & Manufacturer partnerships make us unique in the industry – no one understands diesel engine failure analysis and parts better than M&D. WE FUEL UPTIME. Position Summary  The Logistics Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, primarily focusing on order accuracy and inventory support. This role plays a key part in ensuring our system (Prelude) runs smoothly and our back-end processes are efficient and accurate.

Requirements

  • Prior administrative or operations experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems (Prelude experience is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.

  • Prelude experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Learn and become proficient in Prelude to support operational accuracy.
  • Resolve daily system issues, including:
  • Fixing back orders
  • Ensuring pick tickets are correctly assigned
  • Creating and processing transfer orders
  • Entering and tracking credit memos
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and tracking purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist with inventory control and reconciliation as needed.
  • Inspect cores and issue core credits as needed.
  • Inspect order accuracy before accepting vendor deliveries.
  • Perform quality checks on inventory.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Report inventory discrepancies to leadership.
  • Follow all company policies related to Loss Prevention.
