About The Position

The Logistic Supply Specialist is a cross-trained supply specialist able to perform multiple logistics and supply chain functions. This role requires working knowledge of Material Management functions such as shipping & receiving, inventory, and replenishment. The Materials Management department is a key support function responsible for the management, control, and movement of supplies across the organization. The specialist provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers and must be able to collaboratively work with a cross-functional team including co-workers, clinical staff, supervisors, and management. The ability to prioritize responsibilities to ensure completion of duties within scheduled hours is essential. This position is critical for accurately managing supplies from receipt to distribution. It requires knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Supply Chain inventory software, and mobile supply chain devices. The specialist must comply with Patient Experience and Performance Behavior Standards, and have knowledge of and adhere to Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood and Tissue Handling, HazMat policies, Premier Health and Material Management policies, and HIPPA requirements. Safe operation of material handling equipment is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • High School completion / GED
  • No prior job-related work experience
  • Proficient in mathematics, reading and writing skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems
  • Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse and inventory skills

Nice To Haves

  • Material Management experience, preferably in Healthcare
