Requirements
- Ability and comfort with learning/using lab automation and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Basic to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Associate's degree preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Receiving and storing samples from lab studies
- Checking out and delivering samples to analysts
- Receiving and checking in samples for long-term archiving
- Discarding samples that have reached their retention time limit
- Preparing samples for analysis
- Logging and tracking samples within lab computer system
- Assembling study kits
- Learning and using automation for labeling tubes and sorting samples
