About The Position

The Sales and Guest Experience Manager will lead all sales, booking, and guest-facing operations. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and delivering a high-quality guest experience from initial inquiry through departure. This is a sales-first, hospitality-driven position that combines relationship management, on-site hosting, and operational coordination.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years in hospitality, lodge, or outdoor recreation sales
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and build client relationships
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable hosting guests and being present during evenings and events
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Experience with CRM systems and booking/invoicing platforms preferred
  • Ability to live and work in a rural setting

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, outreach, proposals, booking, invoicing, and collections
  • Manage and grow a pipeline of hunting groups and corporate/event clients
  • Drive growth in gun days, overall lodge revenue, and off-season business
  • Maintain pricing discipline and maximize revenue per booking
  • Execute annual sales strategy including trade shows, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Manage CRM (HubSpot) with consistent tracking, notes, and follow-ups
  • Serve as primary on-site host during hunting season and events
  • Manage guest experience end-to-end: pre-arrival communication, lodging, meals, and activity coordination
  • Oversee guest satisfaction, handle issues in real time, and protect key client relationships
  • Coordinate with culinary, outdoor operations, and service staff to ensure seamless stays
  • Lead execution of off-season events including corporate retreats and private functions
  • Manage bookings, invoicing, and payment tracking
  • Coordinate hunting licenses and guest documentation
  • Oversee booking systems and guest-facing transactions
  • Support staffing coordination for lodge service team
  • Provide regular reporting on sales pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance
