About The Position

The Candidate Experience Coordinator is responsible for delivering a high standard and efficient customer service during the recruitment onboarding process. The Candidate Experience Coordinator supports and works with a talent acquisition and different HR teams to ensure positive experience and a successful onboarding process are completed for candidates, hiring manager and new hired employees. This function helps formulate management policies regarding worker conditions with regular access and analysis of confidential information that help formulate labor policies. The incumbent may attend management meetings and be involved directly or indirectly in the decision making process around management positions during negotiations process.

Requirements

  • Generally requires 1 to 3 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.
  • Knowledge and skill in use of job appropriate technology and software applications.
  • Valid license or certification is required as needed, based on the job or specialty.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs as the main contact person for the candidate and hiring manager during the onboarding process.
  • Effectively manage new hire and hiring manager expectations during the onboarding process and provide efficient and timely response to all inquiries and questions.
  • Ensure adherence to onboarding deadlines and timelines by effectively organizing priorities and managing different tasks.
  • Coordinates all the new hire processing to ensure all needed documentation for compliance are completed prior to the new hires start date.
  • Work closely with various HR & JHS departments (Health Office, Leadership & OD, Nursing Education, HRIS, Security, IT, Personnel Records and the Hiring departments) to ensure coordination of all new hire onboarding steps are seamless and are done in a timely manner.
  • Ensures compliance with Aliens Authorized to Work (process and related actions)
  • Responsible for I9 Compliance for every new hire, including the E-Verify Process.
  • Manages the Background Screening and exception approval process.
  • Acts as the gatekeeper for transfers and other job changes, to ensure correct recruiter actions are completed before processing in the system.
  • Serves as the first tier escalation point for pre-hire and post hire onboarding issues
  • Process all transactions in the applicant tracking system and ensure accuracy of data at all times.
  • Conduct new hire processing audit and compliance tracking.
  • Participates in candidate experience and employee retention initiatives.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.
