About The Position

The Lodgco Hospitality Internship Program is a gateway to real-world Hospitality experience. This program is ideal for college students looking to enhance their knowledge of the hospitality industry with practical, hands-on experience that complements their coursework. Successful completion of the program can lead to future internships or full-time positions within the company. The program will include: Experience in key hotel frontline positions for a semester or 10-week period Cross-departmental rotation: Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Sales A Platform for aspiring hospitality professionals to learn from the experts What you will gain: Practical experience in fundamental frontline hospitality positions Consistent coaching and feedback will be provided to assist in your growth and development throughout and after the program Our training and development program is centered on your personal and professional growth, as well as the essential skills needed to excel in the hospitality industry

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree or certification in the hospitality industry or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hotel business demands
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Flexibility in working various entry-level service positions within the property
  • This position will rotate between front office, housekeeping, food & beverage outlets and/or sales
  • Understanding of daily hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internal rules, including brand-specific procedures and rules
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guests
  • Ensure that all the school-specific internship program requirements are met. Please note - program may be flexible to meet specific internship requirements
  • Additional departments/roles may be added based on business needs
  • Attend to and anticipate guest's needs
  • Attend regular meetings with the General Manager to track progress and growth
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the General Manager
