About The Position

VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley (VCA VSV) is a growing Emergency and Specialty hospital group located in Woodland Hills, California. They are seeking Locum Emergency Veterinarians to join their team. As an ER doctor at VCA VSV, you will receive full support from eight board-certified specialists in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Radiology, and Surgery, who work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The hospital is staffed by a progressive team of ER doctors and highly skilled RVTs, VTSs, and Assistants. ER doctors are responsible for primary case management, communicating with referring clinics, and coordinating consultations and transfers to specialty services. VCA VSV's management philosophy prioritizes customer service for patients, owners, and referring veterinarians, fostering a team-focused, patient-care-oriented environment that encourages collaborative decision-making. The goal is to empower staff to provide the best possible care and service on the ER floor. VCA VSV has over 100 employees and a dedicated administration team.
