This work is performed under general supervision using the tools and techniques of life safety and locksmith technology. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of formal training in an approved Locksmith program at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
Certification as a Locksmith
5 years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in an approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement
