About The Position

We are accepting resumes from a Locksmith / Access Control Technician to support physical security operations at a federally secured facility. The position involves providing time -sensitive access control services, managing keys and cores, and coordinating with security and administrative teams to maintain facility access integrity. This is a key personnel role within a competitive security contract. Employment is contingent upon contract award

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship
High School Diploma or GED
Locksmith certification from a recognized training program
(Federal, military, institutional, or commercial credential accepted)
Prior experience with badge systems, access control software, or secure credentialing
Ability to complete required background check and suitability clearance
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to respond on -site to urgent service requests in a timely manner
Professionalism in high -security, customer -service environments

Responsibilities

Install, remove, and maintain cores, locks, and keysfor secured areas
Process and issue key cards, badges, and mechanical access devices
Respond to routine and emergency service callsfor lock changes, rekeying, and access failures
Track and fulfill work orders related to access requests, credentialing, and secure entry
Maintain detailed logs of access control activities, equipment status, and issuance records
Provide professional, customer -facing supportto tenants, staff, and contractors
Comply with all relevant security protocols, privacy regulations, and system access policies
Maintain login access to relevant security databases and badge systems(training provided)
