About The Position

We are accepting resumes from a Locksmith / Access Control Technician to support physical security operations at a federally secured facility. The position involves providing time -sensitive access control services, managing keys and cores, and coordinating with security and administrative teams to maintain facility access integrity. This is a key personnel role within a competitive security contract. Employment is contingent upon contract award

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Locksmith certification from a recognized training program
  • (Federal, military, institutional, or commercial credential accepted)
  • Prior experience with badge systems, access control software, or secure credentialing
  • Ability to complete required background check and suitability clearance
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to respond on -site to urgent service requests in a timely manner
  • Professionalism in high -security, customer -service environments

Responsibilities

  • Install, remove, and maintain cores, locks, and keysfor secured areas
  • Process and issue key cards, badges, and mechanical access devices
  • Respond to routine and emergency service callsfor lock changes, rekeying, and access failures
  • Track and fulfill work orders related to access requests, credentialing, and secure entry
  • Maintain detailed logs of access control activities, equipment status, and issuance records
  • Provide professional, customer -facing supportto tenants, staff, and contractors
  • Comply with all relevant security protocols, privacy regulations, and system access policies
  • Maintain login access to relevant security databases and badge systems(training provided)
