GENERAL FUNCTION: Assist the shift manager in managing day-to-day operations with responsibilities in multiple areas within Lockbox. Manage a team of non-exempt employees. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • One to three years of Banking operations or related experience.
  • Ability and willingness to share product and process knowledge with co-workers and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Basic level computer knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation.
  • Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience preferably in operations environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations to ensure daily deadlines are met by effectively monitoring workflow and reallocating resources as required.
  • Follow up and resolve any accuracy issues and report resolution to Lockbox management .
  • Manage and review team member productivity and quality on a regular basis.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests , helping coordinate activities of appropriate Fifth Third team members to resolve issues.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training .
  • Support shift manager in achieving production and accuracy goals and provide back-up for all functions.
  • Work to create a positive and engaging environment for team.
  • Responsible for functionality and maintenance of area equipment.
  • Assist with production workflow as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
