We are seeking a reliable and proactive Local Support Assistant in New York to provide essential on-site operational support at our local office. This is not a full-time or part-time employee position. Please Read Carefully: This is a freelance, on-demand engagement. Work is sporadic and scheduled in advance based on operational needs (e.g., specific days for shipments, inventory checks). There are no fixed or guaranteed weekly hours. You will be contacted for specific tasks or interventions as they arise, typically during standard Monday-Friday business hours in New York.

Requirements

  • Have excellent availability and flexibility for sporadic, pre-scheduled assignments.
  • Are highly detail-oriented and proactive in managing tasks from start to finish.
  • Possess basic technical aptitude for office equipment and IT troubleshooting.
  • Have strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Shipment Coordination: Prepare, document, and track all office shipments (incoming/outgoing) with carriers like DHL/FedEx.
  • Inventory Management: Perform scheduled checks of office equipment and supplies, maintaining accurate digital records.
  • On-Site Point of Contact: Be the go-to person for pre-scheduled support tasks, liaising with internal teams and external vendors to resolve logistical or minor technical issues.
