About The Position

The Local Search & SEO Manager owns and scales Window Nation’s local search performance across 36+ markets. This role ensures we consistently capture high-intent demand across Google Business Profile, local directories, and organic search. You will own the full local search ecosystem: Google Business Profiles, Local Service Ads, listings, and local SEO, while driving measurable growth in traffic, rankings, and conversions. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with clear accountability for performance. Success is defined by your ability to improve local visibility, increase conversions, and build a roadmap to scale results across markets. You’ll likely be a strong match if you: Have owned local SEO performance for a multi-location business (5+ locations) Have directly improved map pack rankings, traffic, and conversions Work hands-on in Google Business Profile and/or LSA platforms Can clearly connect your work to measurable outcomes Operate at both execution and system level (scaling across markets) Prefer ownership and accountability over advisory roles

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SEO experience, including hands-on local SEO for multi-location businesses
  • Hands-on ownership of Google Business Profiles (multiple listings)
  • Experience with Local Service Ads (LSA/GLSA)
  • Proven impact on local rankings, traffic, or conversions (with measurable results)
  • Experience managing local listings and NAP consistency across platforms
  • Experience using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, BrightLocal)
  • Experience collaborating with paid media, technical, or content teams to implement SEO improvements

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals (indexing, crawlability, site structure)
  • Deeper ownership of local SEO performance
  • Experience in home services, lead generation, or similar multi-location B2C industries
  • Experience with local SEO/listings platforms (e.g., BrightLocal, Yext, Moz Local)
  • Experience building and executing a local SEO roadmap across multiple markets
  • Experience partnering with CRO/content teams to improve landing page performance
  • Track record of operating independently and driving results in a multi-market environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field.
  • SEO certifications (e.g., Google Analytics Certification, SEMrush Academy, HubSpot SEO, BrightLocal Academy)

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize Google Business Profiles, Local Service Ads (LSA/GLSA), and local listings across all markets
  • Keep listings accurate, verified, and optimized , and resolve issues like suspensions, duplicates, and inconsistencies
  • Optimize service and location pages (metadata, internal linking) to capture high-intent search demand
  • Lead the strategy and execution of local landing pages aligned with SEO and paid media
  • Partner with technical teams to implement SEO improvements and maintain site health
  • Turn keyword insights into clear SEO briefs and scalable content workflows
  • Track and analyze rankings, traffic, and conversions to identify growth opportunities
  • Build and execute a local SEO roadmap to scale performance across markets
  • Collaborate with paid media, CRO/UX, and content teams to improve conversion outcomes
  • Communicate results, insights, and next steps to stakeholders
