WSB TV Atlanta is looking for a full-time Local Sales Assistant! In this position you will need to successfully operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to our sales team's success. Requirements

  • A professional and positive attitude
  • Highly organized and possess the ability to switch focus quickly when needed and work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Accurate computer data entry skill and ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, able to act with a sense of urgency and adhere to set deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Must be able to work in highly collaborative environment
  • Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills providing quick response time and accurate issue resolution
  • Results-driven and highly accountable
  • Self-directed, motivated, and with exceptional multi-tasking abilities
  • Must have a valid US driver's license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Enter TV sales orders into our internal operating system while meeting strict deadlines
  • Maintain schedules and paperwork
  • Resolve any advertiser schedule discrepancies
  • Assist local sales account executives and sales managers with important tasks effectively and efficiently
  • Perform general office duties including answering phones including the switchboard, back up for other assistants and other key clerical duties
  • Updating station materials including media kits, program one-sheets and other sales documents
  • Prepare post campaign reports
