About The Position

Legacy Supply Chain, supporting Product Distribution Company - a subsidiary of GE Appliances, is hiring an experienced full time Local Class A Driver for out of Decatur, AL. As a Local Class A Driver, you will be responsible for running containers from the Huntsville Norfolk Southern Container Port to Decatur, AL as well as moving other local freight as needed. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL License
  • 18 Months of verifiable work experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a clean MVR
  • Current DOT medical card, or the ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

  • running containers from the Huntsville Norfolk Southern Container Port to Decatur, AL
  • moving other local freight as needed
  • Abide by all OSHA rules, DOT regulations and Legacy SCS safety practices
  • Maintain accurate driver E-logs
  • Ability to perform additional duties as assigned
