Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Proven experience as a CDL Truck Driver or in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of state and federal DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and read maps.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good physical condition to handle loading and unloading tasks.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company-owned trucks for the transportation of goods to various destinations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure road safety and compliance with company policies.
Adhere to all traffic laws, federal, state, and local regulations while driving.
Plan routes efficiently, taking into consideration traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring all goods are handled with care.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, reports, and any other documentation as needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to report delays, accidents, or any other issues.
Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the vehicle assigned.
