About The Position

Are you a Class A CDL driver experienced with hauling heavy equipment with a local route and M-F schedule? If so, REIC Rentals (Aim High Rentals) in Tabernash is hiring! As a local-route driver, you will be delivering designated equipment and ensuring the operator is familiar with the delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required. Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures. Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance. Top candidates will have: Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required. Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred. Experience driving as Class A CDL in winter weather conditions and in the construction industry preferred. Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations: Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance Leaving the scene of an accident Committing a felony with a motor vehicle Reckless driving Excessive speed Additional qualifications Have excellent communication skills. Always think and act with safety in mind. Ability to creatively solve problems. Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction. Physical demands Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and the ability to perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching. Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day. % of workday performing, but not limited to: Standing 10% Walking 10% Sitting 80% This position is classified as nonexempt. Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required.
