Local CDL Driver Night Shift
About The Position
Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with an expanding network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The company is seeking talented individuals to join its team. This specific role is for a home daily overnight linehaul driver. The driver will depart from Austin, drive to another Central Transport facility, and then return to their home terminal. These drivers are essential for delivering reliable, on-time service, which helps exceed customer expectations, strengthen existing partnerships, and secure new business.
Requirements
- 6 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
- Acceptable motor vehicle record
- No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
- Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
Responsibilities
- Perform overnight linehaul routes, driving from Austin to another Central Transport facility and returning to the home terminal
- Deliver reliable, on-time service every day
