Local CDL Class A Delivery Driver
About The Position
We are hiring immediately and offering the following: Premium Distributors of Michigan Drivers home daily (start and end at the distribution center). No overnight stays are required.• Set schedule: 10-hour shift Tuesday-Friday/starting at 6:00 am (working until route complete) with weekends off• Pay rate: $26.00 hourly. Earn up to $65,000 in 1st-year earnings Well-maintained, modern fleet of tractors and trailers with all automatic transmission Position responsibilities: The primary duty of the CDL Class A Driver entails the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and the courteous delivery of products to our valued customers The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our local customers and are responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle This role will securely operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
