About The Position

Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with an extensive network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, known for its safe and efficient service. The company is actively expanding its team and is seeking talented individuals. This specific opening is for a home-daily overnight linehaul driver based out of Evansville. In this role, the driver will depart from the Evansville facility, transport freight to another Central Transport facility, and then return to their home terminal. These Home-Daily Line Haul Drivers are considered the backbone of the operation, crucial for delivering reliable, on-time service, which helps to exceed customer expectations and strengthen business partnerships.

Requirements

• 6 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Leave from Evansville, drive to another Central Transport facility, and then return to your home terminal
• Deliver reliable, on-time service every day
