About The Position

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at their Virginia Beach, VA location. This role offers consistent routes, the opportunity to operate modern equipment, and ensures drivers are home every night. Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are crucial for customer relations, responsible for ensuring that customer freight is delivered on time and damage-free. Additionally, drivers are required to unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route. Central Transport is a technologically advanced Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with an expanding network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Requirements

• 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free
• Unloading their trailer upon completion of their daily route
