About The Position

Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier with an extensive network across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The company is actively expanding its team and is seeking talented individuals. This specific opportunity is for Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers based in Brook Park, OH. The role offers consistent routes, the use of modern equipment, and the benefit of being home every night. Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are essential for maintaining strong customer relations, ensuring that freight is delivered punctually and without damage. Additionally, drivers are responsible for unloading their trailers at the end of each daily route.

Requirements

• 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free
• Unloading their trailer upon completion of their daily route
