Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks Lobby/Public Space Attendant (Full-Time) to clean and maintain all public restrooms and public areas in impeccable condition to achieve Crescent’s standards of quality. Here is what you will be doing each day as a Lobby/Public Space Attendant:

Requirements

• You possess a self-starting personality with an even disposition and can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• You can communicate well with guests and are willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• You have working knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
• You work well under limited supervision and are committed to doing the job well each time.
• You understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day.
• Our Lobby/Public Space Attendants must have flexible availability, able to work both an AM or PM shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Guest Room Attendant, Housekeeping, Janitorial, Cleaning & Sanitizing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
• Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
• Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
