About The Position

Scope of the Position: Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public areas including restrooms, hallways, lobby, elevators, fitness center, and employee areas. Perform regular cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, glass polishing, and trash removal. Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other designated areas as needed. Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for cleaning or maintenance support in public spaces. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including the use of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment. Communicate any maintenance or repair needs to Engineering or Housekeeping leadership.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule - willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel environment preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent education preferred.
