About The Position

Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for embodying core value of hospitality, going above and beyond to enhance the guest experience as an integral part of the customer’s journey. This front-of-the-house role engages and discovers the needs of every visitor to best serve them and partners with our Sales & Marketing Representatives as the finest source of information, guidance, and next steps. Not only does this role engage in conversation to create ease and assess needs but with personal acknowledgement and a warm welcome, it helps each guest feel immediately at home in our Sales & Information Centers. Duties may include opening the door and welcoming guests, engaging in conversation, receiving, and assisting with Lifestyle Preview Plan arrivals and departures, greeting trolley tour participants, helping potential Villagers attend their closing or finance appointments and attending to general inquiries. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • No educational prerequisite.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
  • This position requires strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm for The Villages and all it has to offer, a desire to serve and the ability to problem solve to handle a variety of variables.
  • Must be able to communicate with customers, guests, and team members confidently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming door service for all who visit any of our Sales & Information Centers, smiling and personally acknowledging every guest to include never letting anyone go ungreeted and/or unattended.
  • Use “insane curiosity” to discover the needs of all guests to identify the appropriate next step(s), partnering with Sales Representatives as the best source for information and guidance along the path to becoming a Villager.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of The Villages amenities and services, sharing helpful information when pertinent to provide the most up to date information when necessary.
  • Sign up and check in guests and residents for trolley tours, ensuring a seamless experience for all.
  • Cultivate an inviting and helpful environment in all areas.
  • Keep all lobby areas beautiful, clean, and well attended, monitoring refreshment stations and materials, notifying Lobby Host Support and Lobby Service Hosts of area needs.
  • Host The Lifestyle Expo for new residents and renters.
  • Assist the Temporary Resident ID office with accepting and checking paperwork, owner photo IDs, checking databases and filing.
  • Issue Temporary Resident IDs and give rental orientations when appropriate.
  • Host sales parking areas during events to ensure parking for our sales guests and employees.
  • Participate in other special hosting events throughout our community as assigned to include working welcome tents, driving golf-cars, etc.
  • Attend special meetings, educational sessions, and assist leadership in ongoing training of new team members.
  • All other duties as assigned.
