About The Position

BMW of San Diego is seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Loaner/Rental Agent to join their dealership team. Penske Automotive Group (PAG) aims to create a positive and inclusive workplace that fosters excellence and achievement, delivering exceptional customer experiences. The Loaner/Rental Agent is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing the check-out and return of courtesy loaner and rental vehicles in compliance with company, third-party, and manufacturer policies. • Six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license

• One or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a customer service, retail or rental car company

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer satisfaction
• Ensure customers receive and return courtesy loaner and rental vehicles in accordance with company, third party, and manufacturer policies
• Ensure customers have a world-class service experience
• Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Assist in maintaining inventory to satisfy customer requests
• Ensure loaner vehicles are checked out and returned according to company policies
• Document any required maintenance for returned vehicles
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments
• File documentation with insurance or state/federal agency
• Ensure that customers are charged appropriately for any damage, moving violations, tickets and tolls
