About The Position

The Loan Verifier plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation prior to finalization. This position safeguards compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, supporting a seamless loan closing process and exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous banking or commercial lending experience preferred. Familiarity with LaserPro software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general PC knowledge.
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Loan Package Review: Examine loan packages for completeness and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Pre-Closing Updates: Make necessary adjustments to loan packages after initial release to ensure accuracy before closing.
  • Adverse Action Notices: Prepare and process adverse action notices in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Service Level Adherence: Meet established service level agreements and timelines as directed by the Loan Operations Manager.
  • Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
