About The Position

Under supervision of the Department Supervisor and following established policies and procedures, perform all post-boarding duties relating to the servicing of the Bank’s loan portfolio, according to separation of duties established by the Department Head including but not limited to the Essential Functions listed below.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college courses a plus.
  • Experience: 4 + years of commercial loan servicing experience preferred.
  • Skills/Ability: PC literate, email etiquette and composition, proficiency with MS Office; use of IBS loan system a plus; ability to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy; strong problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to read and interpret Laserpro and/or attorney prepared Commercial Loan Documentation; bilingual (English, Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process various loan disbursements, loan payments, loan payoffs and update system of record as applicable.
  • Process International loan disbursements and board sub-notes as needed.
  • Balance assigned Branches in Fusion Trade Innovation (FTI).
  • Review Line Sheet for Controls on various transaction types pursuant to Loan Documents.
  • Perform new Linesheet set ups and perform updates as needed.
  • Process GL Entries in People Soft.
  • Document Gathering for Legal Subpoena.
  • Prepare and certify monthly general ledger accounts, as assigned.
  • Process Rate Conversions and Rate Rollovers Pursuant to Loan Documents.
  • Board Sub-Notes for Additional Advances utilizing multiple Rate Options.
  • Respond to borrower, branch, internal partners and others with excellent customer service.
  • Review daily Tickler report.
  • Review and clear items from daily exception report.
  • Prepare and submit outgoing wires for approval and release.
  • Perform basic loan research as needed.
  • Review and manage Daily Prepayment Penalty report.
  • Review and manage Daily Post Payoff report and Pay Off Packets for accuracy.
  • Prepare Pay Off Statements
  • Prepare Cashiers Check's
  • Prepare GL Tickets for paper checks from Lockbox and regular mail
  • Misc System Maintenance
  • Process Change of Address Requests
  • Process Automatic Payment Requests
  • Prepare VOM's for review
  • Prepare loan document files for imaging
  • Scan and file work papers and loan documents
  • Process return items such as ACH rejects and NSF checks
  • Process incoming wires for payoffs, payments, and pay-downs
  • Manage and clear items in Loan Control and the Loan WIP accounts
