Loan Services Specialist – Gettysburg, PA (Onsite)

Play a critical role in keeping our lending operations accurate, compliant, and running smoothly.

As a Loan Services Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for loan accuracy, balancing general ledgers, and ensuring lending documentation is complete and compliant. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys working with numbers, and brings experience in banking and lending to the table.

Requirements

• Banking and lending knowledge. At least 3 years of experience in loan services, lending operations, or a related banking role.
• Accounting aptitude. Strong ability to reconcile accounts, balance ledgers, and spot discrepancies quickly.
• Tech-savvy mindset. Comfortable working in loan servicing platforms (Fiserv experience a plus) and with digital imaging systems like Nautilus.
• Detail-driven. You don’t just check boxes—you verify, balance, and ensure accuracy the first time.
• Collaborative spirit. Skilled at working across departments and providing guidance to colleagues.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable working in loan servicing platforms (Fiserv experience a plus) and with digital imaging systems like Nautilus.

Responsibilities

• Keep loan records accurate and up to date. Enter, review, and maintain new and existing loans—consumer, mortgage, home equity, and commercial.
• Balance the books. Reconcile daily loan subsystem information, general ledger accounts, unapplied funds, unposted payments, and vendor accounts.
• Ensure compliance and documentation accuracy. Verify title policies, recorded mortgages, construction-to-permanent transitions, flood insurance, and credit bureau discrepancies.
• Support lending operations. Process adjustments, modifications, supplemental agreements, escrow analyses, and insurance applications.
• Guide and mentor others. Provide training and support to Loan Services Representatives while assisting your supervisor with administrative and special projects.
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting. Review daily loan reports, HMDA/CRA data, and customer communications to ensure regulatory and operational accuracy.
