As a Loan Servicer, you will manage the full lifecycle of commercial mortgage loans - overseeing payment processing, escrow administration, loan modifications, and payoffs while ensuring compliance with servicing agreements and regulatory standards. You will also monitor portfolio performance, maintain borrower and investor relationships, and collaborate with credit and risk teams to identify emerging issues and support proactive risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of commercial loan structures, servicing standards, and CRE asset types.
  • Proficiency with commercial loan servicing platforms (e.g., McCracken Strategy, SS&C, Shaw).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem ‑ solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Deep knowledge of commercial mortgage life cycle

  • 1–2 years of commercial mortgage servicing or CRE loan administration experience; leadership experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Loan Servicing & Administration Manage all servicing functions for commercial mortgage loans, including payment processing, escrow administration, reserve accounts, and loan document maintenance.
  • Oversee loan onboarding (boarding), verifying data accuracy, completeness of documentation, and system setup.
  • Ensure compliance with servicing agreements, investor requirements, and internal servicing standards.
  • Process rate adjustments, escrow analyses, and covenant tracking in accordance with loan terms.
  • Portfolio & Risk Management Monitor loan performance, including financial reporting, borrower compliance, and collateral condition.
  • Review financial statements, rent rolls, and operating reports to identify risks or emerging performance issues.
  • Coordinate property inspections, annual reviews, and credit updates.
  • Escalate delinquency issues and collaborate with credit/risk teams on pre ‑ workout planning and mitigation strategies.
  • Borrower & Investor Relations Serve as primary point of contact for borrowers on servicing matters, payment inquiries, escrow questions, and loan administration.
  • Communicate proactively with investors, regulators, and internal stakeholders regarding portfolio performance and servicing metrics.
  • Support investor reporting and respond to investor audits or information requests.
  • Loan Modifications, Consents & Payoffs Oversee processing of loan modifications, assumptions, partial releases, and other borrower requests.
  • Coordinate payoff calculations, lien releases, reconveyances, and final documentation.
  • Work with legal counsel to ensure all executed documents meet servicing and regulatory standards.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing commercial mortgage servicing.
  • Maintain accurate loan files and system records for audit readiness.
  • Implement process improvements to strengthen controls, reduce risk, and enhance operational efficiency.
